Partnerships

The Revers Center for Energy, Sustainability and Innovation values partnerships and collaboration across the Dartmouth community and even further afield. We support our Tuck community by branching out to the greater Dartmouth energy community to ensure that Tuck students have access to the full network of resources. The Center communicates energy events, speakers, and resources taking place around campus to Tuck students through the internal channels and encourages participation throughout the academic year.

Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society at Dartmouth College

Founded in 2017, the Institute's mission is to accelerate an affordable, reliable, and equitable clean energy transition for the benefit of society. The Institute seeks to build a multidisciplinary community of researchers, experts, and citizens who will lead the decarbonization of the global economy. The Revers Center partners closely with the Institute to plan events, speakers, and co-curricular activities that support and connect students across campus.

Center for Business, Government, and Society at Tuck (CBGS)

The Revers Center and CBGS partner closely on several programs at the intersection of our focus areas, particularly related to climate change. Where the Revers Center focuses on the industry, technology, and infrastructure sides of climate and sustainability, CBGS brings a strong focus on corporate social responsibility, policy, and the societal implications of climate change. Together, the two centers organize and sponsor a delegation of Tuck students observing each year’s UN climate negotiations (“COP”).

Thayer School of Engineering: Energy Engineering Program & Research

The Thayer School is home to world-class energy researchers and faculty across the field, including energy systems, power electronics, energy materials, biomass energy, and sustainable design. Tuck students have leveraged Thayer’s resources by taking classes at Thayer, partnering with engineering graduate students, and evaluating commercialization opportunities for Thayer faculty research.

Dartmouth Sustainability Office

Dartmouth Sustainability seeks to challenge and empower Dartmouth College and Dartmouth students to take on the human and environmental problems of a rapidly changing planet. Programs focus on applied learning, building community, supporting teaching and scholarship, and transforming campus operations. The office serves as a resource for Tuck students to explore the future of sustainability, including here on campus.
