Jon Fouts T’92 is the Managing Director for the Global Power and Utility Group in the Investment Banking Division, Morgan Stanley. Jon will cover topics such as M&A trends in energy and Power and the rise of ESG, renewable energy projects and project finance which enables capital sources for utilities both at the national and international level.

Unpacking the IRA: What Will the Inflation Reduction Act Mean for Climate and the Energy Transition?
A panel of Dartmouth and Tuck faculty will discuss the Inflation Reduction Act which represents the largest single federal investment in the fight against climate change in US history. The energy and climate provisions contained in the $700 billion bill are projected to reduce the nation's greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2030, getting the US closer to meeting climate goals.
